Delete your account
Last updated September 14, 2026
You can delete your Pastime account and everything in it at any time. Two ways to do it — you don't need the app installed.
From the app
- Open Pastime and go to your profile.
- Tap Settings, then Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.
By email
If you've uninstalled the app, or you'd rather we handle it, email us from the address on your account:
Email [email protected]Say that you want your account deleted. We'll confirm it's you, delete it, and reply to confirm — within 30 days, and usually within a few.
What gets deleted
All of it. Permanently, and it cannot be undone.
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile — username, display name, avatar
- Everything you've watched: episodes, movies, games
- Shows and teams you follow
- Your ratings, reviews, and lists
- Your notification settings and registered devices
What we keep, and for how long
Four narrow exceptions:
- Feedback you sent us. If you reported a bug or sent a suggestion, we keep what you wrote so we can act on it — but we unlink it from your account, so it is no longer connected to you.
- Crash reports. If the app crashed on your device, we receive a diagnostic report through Sentry, our error-monitoring provider. These reports can include your internal Pastime account identifier, but not your email address, name, or watch activity. They are deleted automatically on Sentry's retention schedule, typically 90 days.
- Signup records. We keep a log of account signups, including the email address used, to detect and prevent abuse. Deleting your account does not remove this record, because its purpose is to stop the same address from being used to abuse the service repeatedly.
- Records we're legally required to retain. If any exist, we keep only those, only for as long as the law requires.
Nothing else survives deletion. There is no soft-delete, no archive, and no grace period during which we could restore your account — so be sure before you confirm.
Just want to stop the notifications? You don't have to delete your account. Turn them off individually in the app's notification settings, or for the whole app in your Android settings.
